I sent an e-mail inquiring about whether there are any new Microbusses out
and about to VW of America, and this is the response I got.

We are delighted to inform you that Volkswagen AG has announced that the
Microbus will be produced.  Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will build the
Microbus for production at Hanover's Commercial Vehicle plant.  No official
dates have been released at this time.
