Is this an electric or mechanical gauge? Is there just some air in the line.
Either way I would not expect much while the engine is cranking on the
starter, it takes rpm's to produce the volume / oil pump output to register as
pressure on a guage. If the compression is fine and the case / crank are within
tolerances I expect things are just fine to go ahead with the installation.Just my
