Bus Depot sells new tanks for $169. Do it once and get it over with. The
only way to really clean these tanks is to cut it open, clean, rebuild
the inlet screen and weld it back together.

Subject: fuel tank cleaning? (was noisy fuel pump)
Thanks to everyone for the feedback on the noisy fuel pump. I have
installed a new fuel filter and no change.
If there is junk in my fuel tank, can it not be removed and cleaned?
Does it necessarily have to be replaced?
