Subject:Re: where to put OEM cup holders?

Mine are on the lower heater cover on each side of the shifter. http://home.earthlink.net/~tjhannink/photos/ShifterSeenFromPassengerDoor.jpg They are easy to reach while driving without having to take your eyes off the road.

If you put them on the sides of the battery wells like they were in my Carat, you will kick them off everytime you go thru to the back of the van.

I have taped over the front of the heat vent inside the duct to keep the heat from blowing directly on the beverage. But then again, if you want a beverage warmer...

Good luck,

TJ

Folks,
I got my hands on some of the fold-out cup holders that Bus Depot sells. The
question is, where did these attach in those fancy-shmanzy Carat / Bluestar /
Wolfsburg / whatevers -- to the sides of the battery wells? To the dash?
Inquiring minds want to know.
