Do I have to drain all the oil from the crankcase in order to replace a lifter? I ordered new lifters and a few of the spring-loaded pushrod tubes and plan to remove the pushrod, break the old tube and get the old lifter out with a magnet or something. Before I do this, should I drain all the oil from the case?
