I guess I suffer from "Big Brother" and "1984" paranoia. And the the thing that really gets me lately is the apparent step-up in the use of digitizing signature pads. I know all about the increased efficiencies and all that jazz, and it is supplosed to be benign statistics info gathering, but "What If??" What if but if sojmeone misuses the info?? Scarey to me! Like I said, I'm a bit parnoid.! John Rodgers 88 GL Driver John Runberg wrote: >>Ahh the preferred customer card. You mean the one that helps them track >>everything you buy? This tells them purchasing patterns and such. This also affects what junk mail you get from the store. Fun. On all 'valued customer cards' I lie like hell. > >Also, keep in mind that this occurs ANYTIME you're name is associated with a purchase (like at the VW dealer, for instance). > >john > > >
