Check at shoptalkforums.com--that's where the disciples of the Prophet Raby hang out. If I just had money to throw at my T4 conversion I'd buy from him. Instead I just glean from his ideas. He is definitely a vendor. I have only one complaint on my AVP 1.9->2.1 rebuild--it leaks at the front main seal. At 60,000 miles. No other leaks. I'd buy from them again. I think part of the problem when a business is too associated with a personality (Bob, Raby, Berg) we expect the personality to be responsible personally for any problem, known or unknown. AVP is really probably no bigger a business than Boston Bob, but it's faceless due to the name.
