Subject:Starting problem

My Westfalia 87 have a new problem since my mechanic did a tune up on it one week ago. I know my ISCU is defective and I was not bad to manage cold starting without it. (but this device is so expensive)

During the tune up, the spark plugs, the rotor and the distributor cap were changed. When I quit the garage one week ago, I didn't have any problem to start the engine. When I took it this morning no problem to start it from cold. I drove for about 40 miles and stopped the van for 20 minutes. When I tried to restart it, no way. The starter was working but the motor didn`t want to fire. After many tries when the battery starting to died, I succeeded to restart it. The motor was running great as usual. After that, I drove for 10 miles and stopped for breakfest. The same story happened when I tried to leave from the restaurant parking lot.

(Thank you to have read my funny english until here)

Any idea what could be wrong?

Germain
