Have to agree with Andrew, I bought Koni Load Carriers for my Volvo 745 stationvagon they are adjustable and have a addon coil spring, thin and progressive, that really makes a difference ! The car is as comfy as originally intended when unloaded but stiffens when provoked or loaded Really nice ...on the Vanagon ? nah, its only been running 125000miles (200000km) so Im still happy with the original ;-) Calle ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew Grebneff" <andrew.grebneff@STONEBOW.OTAGO.AC.NZ> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, May 11, 2004 8:41 AM Subject: Re: Shocking Thread > Koni. Every bit as good as Bilstein, and much more robust. Plus they > have adjustable rebound damping. >
