<DIV></DIV>&gt;Vanagon owners also having motorcycles. It seems like a disproportionately
<DIV></DIV>&gt;high number.

<DIV></DIV>&gt;The one brand of motorcycle that stands out is the BMW. I happen to own an
<DIV></DIV>&gt;'87 Vanagon and a 1999 BMW R1100S (purchased new - that bike is the only
<DIV></DIV>&gt;vehicle I have ever purchased new). I have also owned two other BMWs (a 1970
<DIV></DIV>&gt;BMW R75/5 with a toaster tank, and an '87 K75S - never should have sold
<DIV></DIV>&gt;either of them), as well as an '87 Ducati 750 Paso. Why does the year 1987
<DIV></DIV>&gt;keep popping up?
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Incidentally, I also used to run the service department at a BMW motorcycle
<DIV></DIV>&gt;dealership. I didn't own a Vanagon then, but the Accessories Manager did
<DIV></DIV>&gt;(she owned BMW motorcycles also).
