I had to change fuel pumps on my 1.5 diesel that was running fine but, leaked fuel out the front seal (a lot). I set the timing as I have done dozens of times and have a nice clean idle no smoke advanced slightly for more power only, there is no power at all! With no load, I can rev the motor quite high, but under load it barely makes it up the driveway. The only thing I changed that I am not sure about is the throttle linkage on top of the pump. I got it idling good and tightened it up. I can't see how the the multiple springs effect anything. It runs the same with or without them. Thanks in advance for any help.
