Interesting, i do remember when i replaced my old Bilsteins with newer Bilsteins on my 2wd 85'....My newer ones had larger piston rod/shaft diameter, AND instead of a standard nut at the end of the shaft, they have a hex nut that reguires an allen key to fasten it. I purchased them from an offroad supplier out west so i MIGHT just have the "heavy Duty" bilstein instead of the "touring class" ones. They certainly are a stiffer ride than my older Bils. I might have a part number in my files, i can match them to that website.....but later Phil --- Tromper <tromper@COMCAST.NET> wrote: > Hi folks, > > I popped up two different types of Bilsteins > http://www.proamauto.com/page15bbiltci19.htm > Is "Touring" > and > http://www.proamauto.com/page15bu4.htm > > is "Heavy Duty" > > Which ones do folks on the list have and does > anybody have any experience > with > them both so they can tell the difference?? > > Thanks > > Tromper > In a state of shock over his "new" Diesel > > > Curiosity Kills more Mice then Cats ===== Phil 84' Westy...Tiico'ed 00' Cannondale MTB 95' S9 Skateboard 04' New Balance 705 All Terrain's __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
