I'm no electrician, but my 2 cents: NEVER ground the white wire to chassis- terrible consequences if there is ever a polarity reversal 'onsshore'.Geo. I plan on installing mine on the rear valance of my van to the side of the license plate, another place would be the drivers side by the rear side marker light. I figure the engine compartment is a fine place to bring in 110vts, use quality cableing and I'm not sure on the usage of grounds in a electrically isolated vehicle. (rubber wheels). good luck. oh and drivers side because if it was plugged in on passanger side you stand a much higher chance of forgetting and driving off ruining both your van and house at the same time. It seems as though it would not be too difficult to do. I am a bit nervous drill a hole in the side of my van, but in the name of progress I will concede. Any comments on a good vendor of this would be appreciated. Perhaps some kits exist. For what it is worth, I did a search assuming I would find other similar questions and really found nothing of value. Perhaps I am using the wrong language in the string. I apologize if this has been covered before. Tom
