I mounted my Terk antenna/receiver for my Sirius satellite radio in my luggage rack, held down by 3M two-sided tape.  It picks up well and has been in place for about two months, with no problems so far.  I recently drove 3,000 (to the east coast and back) with excellent reception the entire trip.
