My parents bought a new '69 Westfalia in Germany drove it around for 3 months, then shipped it back to the SF bay area. I drove it more than them in '69-'70( still in high school-- before I went off to college in fall of '70) I used that gas heater a lot ! for quick van interior warm ups and especially snow camping in Yosemite and ski trips to the Sierras. ( miss that gas heater in the Vanagon) Lloyd in Eureka, CA.--- Original Message ----- From: <JordanVw@AOL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Monday, May 24, 2004 9:49 PM Subject: Re: GAS HEATER SWITCH.. was Re: I found a "Mystery Switch" ... > In a message dated 5/24/04 6:14:12 PM Eastern Daylight Time, bobe@webtide.net > writes: > > > THEY ARE VERY DANGEROUS AND CAN BURN YOUR VAN WITH YOU IN IT TO THE GROUND > > IN A MATTER OF MINUTES.
