When I look at the door jam, it has a metal placard that has some dates.
Why does it have multiple dates?     At the top next to West Germany it has

      5/84

Then at the bottom is shows 5/84 again.

What do these 3 dates mean?  Why isn't there just 1 date of when it was
manufactured?
