An alternative is the Gunson Gas Analyzer--it only analyzes carbon monoxide,
but this lets you set the mixture to an optimum. Assuming an engine in fair
shape everything else ought to fall in line (yeah, right). But at least you
would have the most important (for good cool running) parameter set correctly.
