well, i managed to track the source down to the ac. the last time i turned to ac on and then off i turned th knob past the zero which then caused the ac pump/condenser to start making this loud whining sound which i didn't link to me turning th ac off. since then my idle has been wierd. i just set the ac back to zero and then it quit making the sound. this happens if i turne th ac all the way to max as well. not sure what is going on. the po did tell me he had to set the idle up little to compensate for when he used the ac. anyways everything seems to be back to the way it was before. as always, thanks for the input. ki On Tue, 8 Jun 2004, Myers, Thomas A wrote: > I had a similar problem in my 1990.
