Be sure to get a compression test and coolant
leak-down test and exhaust-in-coolant test.  Figure on
new brakes & wheel bearings, fuel lines etc into your
total cost.  On the vanagon.com web page (someplace)
is a check-list for buying a used vanagon/westy.  Good
