I installed Cibie H4 ecode headlights in Hershey
(http://www.knology.net/~vwghost/hershey/) last night.  If you haven't
done this already, what are you waiting for?  The difference is tremendous
with a flat, wide, even  beam of light which lights up the entire roadway
and the sides instead of projecting just two hot spots in the middle as
with the DOT headlamps - these are MUCH better than Sylvania Xtra Vision
on Camel (http://www.knology.net/~vw/dadada.jpg).  It's an easy upgrade
since the H4 bulbs plug into the existing sockets.  It was well worth my
$40.
