I towed a Vanagon with a Vanagon but I had a Subaru 2.2 conversion to help me. I would not do it with the 2.1 WBX. The Subaru with 130 HP had a hard enough time. - Laurence ---------------------------------------- Laurence Smith Hamilton, Ontario, Canada 90 Westy / 90 Subie 2.2 87 GL / 91 Subie 2.2 ---------------------------------------- > -----Original Message----- > From: Vanagon Mailing List > [mailto:vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM]On Behalf > Of Shawn Wright > Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2004 9:49 AM > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Towing a Vanagon with a Vanagon? > > > I may need to tow another Vanagon about 100 miles with my > '88 Westy 2.1L. > Are there any options for doing this without a hitch, ie: > some kind of tow bar > that mounts to the tow hooks on each van?
