I used to have the gowesty 16" "mercedes" alu's (still do) with the X-One's
in 225/60 16. I put the VolksCafe spare carrier mod on, plus I canabalized 4
fence gate hinges, making extensions for the rear attachment point. This
dropped the tire about 2" and accommodated the tire perfectly inside the
spare well.
