Hi all,

How do you properly sand off old dead paint and rust spots to prepare
for a new paintjob?  I have heard you use a water hose and "wet sand,"
but I don't know what type or grade of sandpaper you are supposed to
use.  Are you supposed to use multiple grades of paper in a magic order?
The difference in price quotes from the paint shops for just painting
and both sanding and painting is enormous!
