There was a thread some time back that listed things to do when the dash was out but I can't find it. I have the dash out, cleaned up everything. The heater box has never been opened and since the fan worked fine I didn't bother. Shortened and traightened the one broken heater control cables (it broke about an inch from the control arm) I put some insulation up against the front of the cab between the metal and the wiper arms etc, and behind the area where the glove box will return. I stuffed some up in to the chanels holding with windshield (?) I used this blue plastic material that is used in construction between the concrete footings and the wood sil. I am planning on using it in the doors as it seems to be fine when wet and doesn't hold water. So, aside from cleaning all the grounds and other electronic connections, sandblasting the dash and repainting, What else should I consider doing before I put the dash back on? thanks, peter
