Diana (she was too modest to mention her snazzy U-turn to join us!) wrote of a caravan that was
going strong thanks to several individuals in the lead. One stands out: a belated and very much
deserved "Thank You" should go out to Budd Premack for organizing the VW Campout in
Lanesboro, MN (June 19-21).

It was a lovely weekend with great company and sweet vans. Budd, thanks. These get-togethers
are a fantastic way to meet others, learn about the vans, and have fun.

Happy Friday everyone. Hope this finds you on the road,

-Julia

I recently bought an '84 Westie 1.9L, was driving
through northern Iowa and into MN when I came across a caravan of VW vans going
the other direction. I turned around and met Budd, Darrell, Jim, Chuck, Julia et
al. Truly a moment of divine intervention. My life will never be the same :)
It was so exciting!
