A quick update on some significant changes to the bad tranny situation.

Plans have changed ...... no need to do the last 5,000 miles of this
insane roadtrip in third gear.

Markus Benne and Nathalie Beaulieu of Ottawa, Ontario gently lectured me
on how dumb I would be to head off with no 4th gear when they had a good
spare Syncro Tranny they would loan me..

Thanks to help from Markus, Nathalie, JP and of course the infamous "Mr
Corrupter" Ben Huot..

One night the old one is out.
Second night the new one is in.

Finished at midnight last night and all seems fine.

So the RH is back on the road today pointed towards Nova Scotia.

She has more lives than a lucky Cat.

To the incredible eastern Canadian RH pit crew ......
