Vince,

I can order original Westfalia poptop seals out of Germany, and any other
original T3 Westfalia items as well.

$259 for the poptop seal, $101 for the luggage rack seal. Takes about 6
weeks for delivery. Shipping is extra.

Cheers,

Jeff

Jeff,

Thanks for the lead. I will try them.

I am glad you didn't say it make the Airstream James Cook at $80k a
steal. Well I calculated what my 89 Westy costed me back in 1989 but in
2004's dollar the other day. It worked out to be about $40k.

total about $850 list price. They will not give a discount.

Does anyone know of a dealer that will sell at a discount and will ship
out of state?

Shazam! $850? Suddenly the VW Phaeton looks like a steal at $80K.

Having said that I admire your eye for detail. And while I have an
aftermarket seal which works very well, I know in my heart it's not
VWOA.

Camelback VW in Arizona--I can't remember exactly where--has shipped to
me at a discount. Let them know you're list member and ask for the list
discount. I think they charge you 10% over cost.
