Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all your help on the head gaskets and cooling system restore
issues.  I had aquired a bad new thermostat.  I found with my IR Thermometer
it did not start to open till 92C on the stove. So I checked my old one and
it opens at 87c  just like it should.  Temp gauge now never leaves just
above the LED.  Rad fan works as it should.  I will now always test new
thermostats before I install them.  One happy camper here!! Thanks for all
your help.
