I'll echo Bob Stevens on this, Jason. The fan comes on when the
thermoswitch says it is over X degrees (I don't recall off the top of
my head what X, is, but it doesn't take much.) Yep, that fan is LOUD
(stock anyway). I got a replacement at RVWorld (check the archives on
replacement fridge fans)....The replacement is a lot quieter.
