ok, so I'm in the planning and prep stage for my Air Cooled van.

I'd like to put my 1.6TD in, i've collected the parts for many years and have read a lot of great reviews from those who have gone there before me.

I have the diesel bellhousing, mounts, pan and all such parts.

I have a radiator from an 87 syncro. 

what I need to know is for the water lines, can I use those SS ones offered by Terry? http://community-2.webtv.net/VanStuff/VanagonWestfalia/

it states they are for 83.5-85. I'll be doing most everything else semi-custom so I'm not against fabricating the parts that I need.
