I've done this several times here in Utah. I'll leave work (9pm) and head for So. Utah or CO, drive for 4 hours or until I get sleepy, pull into a couple different of these I'm familiar with, and sleep 'till I wake. Sometimes the hiway traffic noise bothers me but not usually. I just lock myself in. Happy travels ... let me know if you get into this area. My home is small but the street is large :) nice views of the summer smog from here, too. 801-232-9409 bob ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Alcock" <doug.alcock@HEWITT.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, July 27, 2004 7:52 AM Subject: Rest Area Camping?? > Hi gang, > > We're Canadians who do a fair bit of camping in the US. It looks tempting but some > cautious part of me has always held back from actually pulling in and > going to sleep. Any and all comments welcome. > > Thanks, > Doug >
