I am considering reverting my '82 Westy with incomplete I-4 1.8 gas engine to 1.6 diesel power. I have found a Golf diesel at what seems to be a good price, but are there any Vanagon diesel specific parts? I recall hearing that the injection pumps are different, but can the Golf injection pump be used? TIA, Scott
