Vanagonians,

I want to experiment (just for fun) with doing water injection, such as a
mister into the intake manifold.  Can any harm be done in trying this?  I
can't think of any.

I am considering reverting my '82 Westy with incomplete I-4 1.8 gas engine
to 1.6 diesel power.  I have found a Golf diesel at what seems to be a good
price, but are there any Vanagon diesel specific parts?  I recall hearing
that the injection pumps are different, but can the Golf injection pump be
used?
