Phil, thanks for the tip. I was using the stock bolts. At least, I was using the bolts that came with stock transmission. Where can I get these 8.8 grade metric bolts? From VolksCafe or other vendor? When I go down to the local hardware store, there's a limited selection of metric hardware and I'm not sure what grade they are. I was looking at the Bentley last night. I guess the bolts need to be tightened to 64 ft-pounds or higher. I don't have the book in front of me right now, could be a higher torque. Not sure why the bolts would have come loose. Maybe they weren't tightened properly? Thanks.
