85 Westy Automatic, 155k miles. Has been getting 18mpg or so on the freeway, so I think it's overall in reasonable tune. Major problem is a rough, stumbling idle that smells somewhat rich (although the plugs look normal). Also has a coolant leak (I think one of the heads) and burns about 1/2 liter of coolant per tank of gas. Recent work: New cap, rotor, plugs & wires New AFM (rebuilt) New Oxy sensor New DIS (digital idle stabilizer) Adjusted valves Cleaned/adjusted Aux Air Valve Fixed vacuum leaks Grounds are clean Set timing, adjusted idle air screw. Since Air & Spark seem to be ok, I'm now thinking that this must be fuel? Would dirty injectors cause this? If so, can I clean them myself? If not, does anyone offer a injector swap service (buy clean ones, send in my dirty ones as a core?) If not injectors, any thing else obvious to check? Thx in advance!
