Title pretty much says it all ---- This cable broke in my sliding door last week. I took it off --- took it to my mechanic who said, "No problem --- I'll just weld it". He did --- I put it back on, cleaned greased and lubricated everything I could find and thought I was good to go. Just went to open the Westy up and fire up the fridge for our weekend trip ---- and the (*&^ing door wouldn't open. I recited a few calming obscenities, took the stupid door panel off again (I hate those panel clips) and found that the cable had broken at the weld. Has anyone got a new or used one of these cables. For that matter can someone look the part number on ETKA for me --- couldn't find it on the BusDepot site. I'd really like to get a new or used one in the next week or so as we're leaving on the 22nd for a two week trip arounf Cape Cod --- I'd like to open the door without crawling inside and using tools. Thanks and everyone have a great weekend, Doug
