If any of this has gotten to the point where some actual (snail) mail traffic is involved, you might get a rise out of the U.S. Postal Inspector. They take a pretty dim view of these kinds of things. Keep us updated. I'm sure we're finding this more interesting/amusing than you are. : ) Cya, Robert p.s.- You could try callin' Homeland Security and tell 'em you think this guy is laundering money for terrorist operations. Might get more mileage out of that one. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stan Wilder" <wilden1-1@SBCGLOBAL.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, August 10, 2004 2:17 PM Subject: Re: VW van count > Well Joy I regret that it's not Friday. > My scammer that is sending $8000.00 for a $2600.00 engine has sent his > check. > USPS has been trying to deliver it for two days. > He's expecting me to ship the engine and send him a cashiers check for > $5400.00 but I'm having a hard time producing his check on my printer. > Something must be wrong they keep coming out with the same number on every > check. > If aybody has any blank cashiers checks please let me know and I'll tell you > where to send him his phoney check. > The FBI says they "Don't get involved unless somebody looses money".
