The incandescent interior light above the galley in my westy is broken,
and needs to be replaced. I've gone to some RV stores looking for a
replacement, but the ones I've seen are, franky, dog ugly.
I've been eyeing those new white LED flashlights, and wondering if
somebody is making something using LEDs that would make a suitable
interior light for over the westy galley. It would certainly help
conserve battery power on long boondocking camping trips, wouldn't it?
Then I got thinking it might be cool to have LED-based lighting
arranged in a pair under the rear storage shelf, for reading in bed at
night. And mounting a couple up front for map-reading, too. And might
as well replace the fried interior light over the driver's door while
I'm at it. And a couple of lights in back for the kids to read by at
night... Hmmmm....
