This past weekend my 85 Westy developed a heavy knock at the r/r wheel. I suspect a bad CV. The knock slows and speeds according to the bus speed. It knocks when going straight I thought CVs knock only on turning. Turning actually quiets it down. Can these things be saved? Can (or should) you add grease through the boot from time to time? If it is bad is it cheaper and faster to replace the half shaft? Thanks all. Spencer
