So, you're turning this into a personal attack? In your first post, you made it seem that you were worried about how toxic antifreeze was to YOU. Now, in your post quoted below, you try to make it seem as though you had only been thinking about the l'il critters all along... Of course, between your first post and this one, JD posted very informative words and links... Pinky, that info went to the whole list, not just you, and I'd wager that the info was not new to very many folks besides you. Either way, you can't pass it off as a personal revelation. To address why anyone would have these in their van, instead of "...on a shelf in the garage...", well, I guess you don't actually READ anything on this list about Vanagons, do you?!? Too funny. Meh. Not worth addressing anything else. I had no idea that a post as innocuous as yours would be what made me leave the list. I hear JonR laughing, but oh well... Goodbye to those with brains, and good riddance to those without who continually darken my inbox. -Simon On Aug 13, 2004, at 10:32 AM, Vonpinky@aol.com wrote: > > In a message dated 8/13/04 11:59:49 AM, simon@FARRSIDE.NET writes: > > << It WILL hurt if you mix it with your cheap wine, even in small > amounts. > > -Simon >> > > Dear -Simon, > > ***YOU*** are too, too liberal with ***YOUR*** use of the second > person. > There are three things I avoid like a plague: cheap shoes, cheap wine > and cheap > talk!!! > > Oh, by the by, if a small animal were to be attracted by the sweet > odor of > the spilt antifreeze and lap it up, I am ***certain*** it would be > harmed.
