I know a lot less about this type of stuff than many of you - however I
have a few brass fitting in my coolant system and I don't lose one bit of
sleep over it - and I've never had a problem. I feel better about Brass
than I do even the stock plastic.

If there was anything to worry about I guess, as Dave said, it might be a
chemical reaction with modern coolant - but temperature - doesn't worry me
one bit. (neither does chemical reaction really).
