If you have the old ones on there, one or both may have cracks that are allowing exhaust to enter the cooling water jacket in the heads. When I had the engine out, I noticed the metal coolant pipes were in bad shape, so I cut out the rear most portion and replaced them. I'm wondering if perhaps rust chunks made their way into the radiator and are causing the problem. > >Any help in diagnosing the problem is greatly appreciated. > >Thanx folks! > > >--------------------------------- >Do you Yahoo!? >Win 1 of 4,000 free domain names from Yahoo!
