My fuel guage stopped working about a year ago.  I replaced voltage
reducer on cluster, cleaned all grounds behind fuse panel and then even swithed out
instrument clusters.  I now have a gas leak that I can not detect where it is
coming from.  Due to a recent post that talked about the Syncro's being noted
for a rusted out fuel gauge sending unit, I would believe that this is my
problem.  Probably safe to assume this is the source of my gas leak as well.
     My questions are what is the procedure for getting at and changing the
sending unit?  Also who carries new gas tanks for Syncro, thinking that if I
have to drop the tank I might just want to go with a new tank.  I looked at a
couple list vendors but did not see any listed.
