Eric _______________________________________________________________________ No, the 411/412Porsche 914 used D-tronic fuel injection which was a mechanical-vacuum controlled setup. 411/412 motors will not bolt into any 72-75 Type 2 without stripping it down to a short block and putting all the Type 2 stuff on it. +76 Type 2 motors used a different exhaust port configuration so the exhaust will not directly bolt on the 411/412 motor. If you try to run the stock 411/412 exhaust in a Vanagon, it will interfere with the engine crossmember and fan housing. Most of the tin will not work in a bus/Vanagon and depending on the model of 411/412 the dipstick and oil fill will need to be relocated, BTDT. Some 411/412 motors (pre 1973) had higher compression ratios (different pistons), most had a windage tray that would be a good addition to any Bus/Vanagon motor.
