I am going to change my coolant and was wondering if I need to go ahead and
change the water pump and some of the small hoses?

Pump is about 5 years old.

Has @50,000 miles.

Been running in the high temps of desert for a year.

I have read on the list that the average life of the pump is 50K.

Is it prudent or overkill and just wait another year or so to change the
pump?

All opinions welcome.
