Sure, if you tell me how yours were named.

Oops ... I spoke too soon. I haven't been in Japan since 1968 and I'm out
of practice.

Inu is Japanese for dog. Enu is Japanese for swallow's wing.

Fwiw .... Neco is Japanese for cat, though.

We have a guest from out of state, so my answer will be brief.

The '84 got the name Mongo after the burly character in the movie "Blazing
Saddles".

I had experienced a really rough trip from Maine to Virginia and back with a
cracked head that allowed combustion gasses into the coolant. We ended up
leaving the bleed screw slightly open at the radiator (to release the
pressure) and stopped about every 25 miles to add coolant. Anyway, after I
got home I put on a new head among various parts and the van ran so good
that I muttered something to the effect of ... Mongo strong now ... Mongo
impressed. The name Mongo stuck.

The '85 Westy developed various leaks after I purchased it (now repaired)
but was referred to as Willow ..... as in Weeping Willow.

Later,

Mike
