Hello, I am in the process of replacing the rear wheel bearings on my air cooled 1982 Westy. I am pretty far into the job (bearing housing is sitting on my work bench) and was looking for a little guidance before I really got into the bearings. Is anyone aware of a good write up for this job? I have searched the archives, westfalia.com, and the type2.com library and I can't find one. I'll take this opportunity to say thank goodness for the Schley striker wrench for the rear axle nut! I couldn't believe how effective that tool is. After bending a 3/4' craftsman breaker bar I didn't think I would ever get that nut off! Thanks, Jake --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? vote.yahoo.com - Register online to vote today!
