Yes. I agree that the angle is related to the safe and longivity of the heat absorption cooling system so you don't over heat the refrigerent and boil them into solid. The angle is the function of the plumbing design of the specific fridge. I won't argue that may be some reduction in efficiency of the fridge at the extreme of this angles but I suspect very slight. - Vince http://gipsyflies.home.comcast.net 1989 Vanagon GL Camper 1993 Mazda Miata (for sale) 1996 Land Rover Discovery 2005 Mini Cooper S -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Markus Mumper Sent: Tuesday, September 21, 2004 2:01 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: fridge wont stay lit The +/- 8 degrees has nothing to do with the burner flame and everything to do with the circulation of the refrigerating agent (I think it might be chlorine???) within the refrigerator's system. AFAIK the +/- 8 degrees also applies to all axis, front to back and side to side. Markus '87 Westy ------ Original Message ------ > On the surface this may seems to be the case.
