Mineral spirits and /or Prep Sol works well for removing any trace of
silicone prior to painting.
Mineral spirits is my choice of products for this process.
A shot of fish eye eliminator in each cup of paint would have reduced or
eliminated any chance for the fish eye's to appear.
Another essential product to use in the art of automotive refinishing.
If any silicone is suspected on any body panel ,a high pressure hot
water wash piror to starting the job is te best for a flat error free
paint job.
