I "Americanized" the spreadsheet available for download at the bottom of
this page:

The sheet still uses litres and imperial MPG for input but shows the US
equivalent so you can tweak appropriately. I will admit that I used it to
help rationalize my conversion expenditures with my wife :-)  It may be
usefull....
